PRINCIPAL'S REPORT

Principals Report End of Term 2 2026
As we close out Term 2, I’d like to express my sincere thanks to all members of our college community for your continued commitment, support, and partnership in learning.
This term has been filled with meaningful learning, student growth, and a range of opportunities that highlight the strength of our college culture and values. I’m incredibly proud of how our students have engaged both in and beyond the classroom, demonstrating respect, responsibility, and resilience in everything they do.
GAT Assessment – Tuesday 16 June
All students undertaking a VCE Unit 3–4 subject, including those in the VCE Vocational Major, completed the General Achievement Test (GAT) last Tuesday 16 June. We commend them for the way in which they approached this test.
Year 10 and 11 Mid Year Exams
Congratulations to our Year 10 and Year 11 students for their approach and participation in the mid year exams. These are great preparation for our students as they reach the final years of their studies.
Congratulations
Congratulations to our Senior Girls AFL football team for their runners up performance yesterday in the Premier League AFL Senior Girls competition for 2026. This competition is an invite only competition to the top 8 AFL Senior Girls AFL Football Teams in the state. The grand final was a close and tight tussle all match with the girls going down to Rowville SC by 11 points. We are so proud of all senior girls and their coaches and supporting staff for finishing runners up in this very prestigious competition.

Sporting Success:
Our Boys and Girls Bill Turner Cup Soccer Teams play in the state final today and tomorrow, we wish them well and look forward to hearing of their results.
Our Year 7 and Year 8 Girls Netball Teams advanced to the regional finals after an undefeated SSV Western Metro Regional Finals competition with comfortable wins against Maribyrnong Sports Academy.
Several WHC students represented the Barwon Region in cross-country and have now progressed through to the state cross country final next term.
These are just a few of the many successes that reflect the talent, effort, and growth of our students this term.

Term 3 brings key events including:
• Subject selection and pathways planning for Years 9–11
