DCS Community Catch-Up

The DCS Community warmly invites all our wonderful parents and grandparents to join us for a relaxed coffee and catch-up next Wednesday 1st July at 9.00am, straight after Worship Wednesday in the Jiloa Centre.

Come along for some light refreshments, a warm cuppa, and the opportunity to connect with others in our school community. Children are most welcome to come along too, with some toys available for them to enjoy while you chat.

We would love to share this special time together, it will truly be a blessing to have you with us!

Winter Food Drive

This winter, DCS Community would love to restock our community pantry with non-perishable food items to bless our community and provide some relief during these tough times. 

Donated items will be made available through our DCS Community Cupboard which is being updated to a fresh new location. We have such a great space with many shelves ready to be filled. Stay tuned for more on this space soon!

School families are invited to donate any non-perishable goods. Some ideas area: 

• Tinned fruit and vegetables

• Baked beans or spaghetti 

• Long life milk and fruit juice

• Pasta

• Cereal

• Tinned or packet soups 

• Jars of ready to cook sauces

• Rice

• Coconut cream

DCS Community Parent Library

We are pleased to share with you all that we have a DCS Community Parent Library, that is now stocked with a range of fantastic books for you to enjoy! You will find the collection on a bookshelf in the Jiloa Centre, near the Jiloa Café window. 

Please feel free to browse and borrow at your leisure. All we ask is that you:

• Sign your name and the book title on the borrowing sheet when taking a book

• Tick the box on the sheet once you have returned it next to your name.

The Upper Room Prayer

As a school we like to pray for both our school and the wider community.

You are invited to join with others in our community in prayer, every Wednesday straight after Worship Wednesday from 9am.

This will be held in the meeting room at the front office. 

We would love to partner with you in prayer for our DCS Community.

For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.

DCS Community Lunch Orders – Subway & Liv Eat

DCS Community facilitates the option for all students to order Subway and Liv Eat lunches via the Canteen Hub app. 

Orders are placed through the Subway Canteen Hub and delivered directly to the school.

• Subway is available every Wednesday.

• Liv Eat is available every Friday.

   

Order cut‑off times:

• Subway: Tuesdays by 9:30pm

• Liv Eat: Thursdays by 12:00pm
