As the 2026 winter basketball season comes to an end, we are asking that all DCS basketball tops please be returned to the Central Office before the end of Term Two.
Even if your child is planning to play in the spring roster, we still require all tops to be returned. With team changes each season (some students continuing and others joining), we need to collect all uniforms so they can be reallocated once the new rosters are finalised. We will share further information about the spring roster as soon as it becomes available.
If your child has a preferred number, please let us know when returning the top, and we will do our best to allocate that number to them.
Thank you for your support and understanding.

We are looking for Devonport’s official floral and fauna emblem and encourage all Devonport residents to share their ideas and submit their nominations to help shape our community's natural identity.
Your suggestions will play a vital role in selecting the floral and fauna that truly represent our unique environment and heritage.
Residents are invited to help shape this identity. In 150 words or less, nominate one floral species (flower, bush, or tree) and one fauna species (animal) that you believe best represents Devonport.
Submission Dates: Opens 1 June and closes 3 July 2026.
Submit Online: https://www.7ad.com.au/win/devonports-natural-identity/
All entries will be considered by an independent community committee and assessed against:
Native and endemic species
Environmental identity
Cultural values
Historic significance
Practicality
Symbolism
Distinctiveness
Sustainability
The committee will select up to five submissions, which will then be presented to the Devonport community to vote for their choice of floral and fauna. The species with the most votes will be presented to the Devonport Council for consideration for adoption.
Help celebrate Devonport’s unique natural character by sharing the species that speak to our landscape, heritage, and future.

Devonport Library is excited to be partnering with Questacon to bring the Byte Wise travelling exhibition to our communities from Thursday 18 June to Thursday 2 July.
Questacon has been delivering hands-on science exhibitions across Australia and internationally for more than 25 years, and Byte Wise brings that expertise into an engaging, accessible format designed for community spaces.
This interactive exhibition features hands-on exhibits that challenge visitors with logic puzzles, code-breaking activities, geometry challenges and more. While Byte Wise is particularly suited to students aged 10–15, it’s engaging for all ages.
