The continued wet weather has seen the postponement of many sporting events and a few excursions.  With winter setting in, hopefully we will see the rain stop and give the students the opportunity to undertake the activities that they enjoy.  We are also planning to catch up on many maintenance and school grounds tasks in the coming weeks including getting into the gardens and cleaning the paths as the mud finally dries out.

I recently spent the day attending the Sunshine Coast Dance Eisteddfod with the junior secondary dance excellence girls.  It was a very long day and girls were brilliant in terms of performance, behaviour and school representation.  The girls achieved two second places and two very highly commended places.

I would like to thank all the parents who attended the recent parent – teacher interview nights.  In working with the teachers, I am sure that you will be more informed about your students’ progress and have a better understanding about subject content, assessment and workload.
