ANZAC Day Service

Student leaders Isabel and Kade represented the College at this year's ANZAC Day Dawn Service Ceremony. They took part in the service by introducing 'In Flanders Field', a poem sung by the Men's Rugby Choir, which helps us understand the experience of service people and their loved ones in wartime.

The ANZAC march was attended by a number of our student leaders who proceeded down Baylis street bearing the 1st AIF banner which represents all Australian soldiers who fought in WW1.

On behalf of the College Isabel and Kade had the opportunity to lay a wreath at the Anzac Memorial Gardens Cenotaph as a symbolic gesture of remembrance and respect for those who have died in military service.

The experience is one that will stay with the students involved for a long time.

Rotary Youth Driver Awareness Program (RYDA)

Our Year 11 students attended the annual Rotary Youth Driver Awareness Program again this year for quality instruction on safe driving practices.  Upskilling young people on the cusp of receiving their driver's licence is something we are happy to support and the feedback from staff and students was that the day was really valuable.  We thank Rotary for including the College in this Program again in 2025.
