Principal's Report

The sunshine was nice when we had it but it seems as if the cold weather is fast aproaching! Breakfast Club has been a smash hit this week with many visitors popping in, a reminder this will be Monday/Wednesday and Friday mornings while we navigate the changes to before school care on Tuesday/Thursday. 

We've got new edging around our pathways to prevent rocks spilling over and some sheeting near the green area to do the same. We hope this keeps those slippery little rocks in the garden beds where they belong, not on the path causing havoc!

Cross Country has come and gone with 7 of our students representing NPS at the district level. Chloe, Essie, Audrey, Marluka, Will, Jack and Annie all did an incredible job with some awesome achievements (including navigating muddy puddles and continuing with one shoe). Well done to you all. To Chloe and Essie, we'll be cheering you on as you go to the divison level in a few weeks time! 

Term 2 seems to be rolling along with a dental visit and grade 4/5/6 soccer next week. Add this to school photos, Kitchen Garden and an olympian visit later in the term there's plenty to look forward to.

MOTHERS DAY AFTERNOON TEA

Please join us for a mothers Day afternoon tea on Friday 8th May from 2:45pm onwards. Come in to the classrooms for a cuppa, afternoon tea and enjoy some games & craft activities. 

COMMUNICATION

Please continue to use Compass Connect (messenger function) on Compass for communication between families and teachers. See below photo, highlited icon for messaging. Narelle in the office is also there to support your admin questions.

VISITING THE CLASSROOMS

Please know that we'd love you to visit the classrooms with your child(ren) before or after school - they're open from 8.45am in the morning. Staff are in meetings Monday/Tuesday at 3.45. We really do hope to see some faces checking in!
