Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung People of the Kulin nation; past, present and those who will walk with us into the future. We acknowledge the rich and unique cultural and spiritual relationships to the land, waters and seas, educational practices and the hopes of all First Nations Peoples. We do this in the spirit of reconciliation as we move to a place of justice and partnership - together we work, learn, play and care for one another and this land.

School Readiness Information Session

Next week, our Prep team is running a School Readiness Information Session. This is a great opportunity for those starting school next year to hear from our expert teachers about how to give their child the best start to their schooling. Please see the flyer below for more information.

Enrol now for Prep 2027

Families wishing to enrol their child for Prep in 2027 are reminded that applications are due by 31 August 2026. We encourage all prospective families to submit their enrolment forms by this date to ensure they are included in the first round of offers.

Offers of enrolment will begin being emailed to families from 3 August 2026.

Host Families Needed

Our new Japanese intern will be arriving on Sunday 12th July, just in time to start term 3. Her name is Arii Kawata and she is excited to be joining Japanese classes at Kalinda for  term 3 and 4. 

Arii is training to be a teacher and enjoys playing the piano and clarinet and learning about new cultures and trying new food. 

We are looking for host families to host her for a minimum 2 week stay. It is a great opportunity to learn more about Japan and share Australian culture.
