Running on June 2 in Mount Beauty, this program is exclusively for people aged 18-25 who live, work, or play in the Alpine Shire.
Join this free training program, designed to build the confidence and capability of young people in the Alpine Shire to respond effectively in emergency situations. Participants will develop essential CPR and First Aid skills. Training includes both in‑person and online components, ensuring participants gain the knowledge, hands‑on practice, and nationally recognised competencies required.
There is an option to complete a CPR only component for people who meet the criteria.

Ann-Sophie headed to Mount Beauty
The Rotary Club of Mount Beauty is delighted to announce that an incoming student from Germany has now been assigned to spend a year in our valley from July this year until June next year. Ann-Sophie comes from a small town around one hour north of Munich, where her family runs a boutique bakery. Her town is about the size of Mount Beauty, and she is very excited about coming to spend the year with us.

During her stay Ann-Sophie will attend school at Mount Beauty Secondary College and will be hosted in three to four local homes. Families of all types may apply to host a student for two to three months. They do not need to have the same aged children, or any children at all for that matter. They just need a safe and welcoming home environment. Ongoing support is provided by the local Rotary Club.
For more information, or to express interest in hosting Ann-Sophie please contact Bob Flower on 0417246303
The Write Around the Murray Short Story Competition is for writers of any age anywhere in Australia. First prize is $1000 and will be judged by best-selling crime novelist, Margaret Hickey.
