KYPP News

Throughout the term, KYPP students have been developing their hospitality skills by preparing and serving lunches for staff as part of their Hospitality competencies.
Students have demonstrated their growing confidence and practical skills by creating a range of popular menu items, including schnitzel burgers, hamburgers, and chicken parmas with wedges. These lunches have been very well received by staff and have provided students with valuable hands-on experience in food preparation, service, and teamwork.
In addition, the students organised and catered an afternoon tea fundraiser in support of the Cancer Foundation. The event was warmly supported by staff from Morwell, Churchill, and the University campuses, whose attendance helped make the fundraiser a success. Thank you for your continued support!
We are incredibly proud of our students' commitment, enthusiasm, and willingness to take on new challenges. Their efforts have not only strengthened their hospitality skills but have also contributed positively to the wider community.
