Community Update

As we reflect on another big term of events, it’s hard to believe just how much we’ve packed in, from our 150 Year Community Celebration, Ladies Lunch, and Father’s Day Breakfast, to Contemporary springART and more - no wonder it feels like a whirlwind! Looking ahead, we are now turning our focus to some very special moments to come — including farewelling our lovely Year 12 students with a week of Graduation Celebrations, along with our annual Fathers & Friends Lunch, and our Volunteer Thank You Evening.

This term has seen so many families come together to support the College, whether cheering on from the sidelines at sporting events or attending our community gatherings. The generosity, time, and spirit shared by our families have brought these moments to life. We are so grateful and do not take for granted the many hours contributed!

Fathers and Friends Lunch

We are excited to invite you to our Fathers & Friends Lunch, taking place on Sunday, 2 November. This event provides dads and friends of the college community the opportunity to come together, connect, and enjoy the spirit of Loreto.

At this year’s Fathers & Friends Lunch, we are fundraising for a much-needed upgrade to the projector in our Performing Arts Centre. The current equipment limits the quality of school productions and presentations. A new projector will significantly enhance the AV quality, improving the experience for students, parents, staff, and the wider school community during performances and events.

You can book a table of 10 or individually. When you make your booking, please indicate either your daughter's year level or who you would like to sit with, to assist with seating arrangements. Please find the link to book your tickets here.

This special afternoon is open to all Old Scholars, with a particular focus on milestone reunion years (5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 years). We’re also welcoming men who attended Loreto in the Junior School, as we’ve had a lot of interest from this group and would love to include them in the celebrations.

Join your fellow Loreto Graduates for drinks and nibbles at our Milestone Reunion Day on Saturday 18th October. The afternoon will begin with a tour of the College followed by drinks and nibbles in The Square. To make the most of the occasion, we warmly encourage you to continue the festivities with your year group after the event. Many local venues such as The Bath Hotel, Robin Hood Hotel, HulaHoop, Rising Sun Inn, and The Feathers Hotel are perfect for a casual dinner or drinks and offer a great opportunity to catch up. Please feel free to organise something for your year level.
