Assemblies

Assemblies will take place every even week, with the first scheduled for Friday, 17 October at 9:10 am. Families are warmly welcome to attend.

Class Placements for 2026

As we begin forming classes for next year, parents and caregivers are invited to share any special considerations for their child’s class placement.

Requests should be emailed to the school office at keelonith.ps@education.vic.gov.au by Tuesday, 4 November, addressed to me.

Requests may relate to friendship dynamics, learning needs, or family circumstances, but please note that requests for specific teachers cannot be accommodated. If you have placed a request in previous years and it is still valid please resubmit, as the dynamics of relationships do change over time.

Collecting Children During the Day

If you need to collect your child early, please notify the office in advance so we can have them ready for you. Schools are busy places, and it can take time to locate students, particularly if they are in specialist classes or other learning areas.

To minimise disruptions, please avoid collections during:

•    Play 1: 12:10 pm – 12:50 pm

•    Play 2: 1:50 pm – 2:30 pm

During these times, children may not hear PA announcements, and buildings are locked for safety, making it difficult to collect belongings.
