Creating Futures Together

Casual Dress and Hot Chocolate Day

On Friday the 13th of June, we will have a casual dress day for all year levels. Please remember to bring a gold coin donation. Money raised from the casual dress day will go towards buying paint for our school mural projects.

There will also be a hot chocolate stand set up at recess and lunch, so make sure to bring some extra money if you’d like one. Hot chocolates will be $1 if you bring a reusable cup, or $3 if you don’t. Marshmallows are included!

Money raised from hot chocolate sales will be donated to Clean Up Australia, a not-for-profit environmental organisation that inspires and empowers communities to clean up, fix up, and conserve our environment. The funds will also support sustainability efforts at our school.

Don’t forget your cup and enjoy a warm drink while supporting two great causes!

Clubs

As of this year, a lot of clubs have been forming at our school, thanks to a lot of student initiative and supportive teachers. There is something on nearly every day, as well as a lot of clubs waiting to be formed. Currently, these clubs take place every week:

  • Badminton in the Gym on Mondays after school.
  • History club in L01 Tuesday lunchtimes.
  • French Minecraft club in R03 Friday lunchtimes.
  • Art club in A01 Tuesdays after school, from 3:00pm to 4:00pm.
  • Robotics club in L01 Wednesday lunchtimes.
  • Motivational Mondays for VCE students, held in the VCE centre after school every Monday.

We also have a lot of ideas about future clubs, like:

  • A gardening club
  • DJ Club
  • And an E-sports club

We would highly support anyone keen to start a new club, and you can feel free to talk to any teacher who you think could help you with this, or Mr. Steele, in the Learning and Wellbeing Centre (the old library space).
