Exploring Aussie Animals!

This term in Integrated Studies, we're diving into the fascinating world of Australian animals! We’ve started our journey by hopping into the life of kangaroos. Students have enjoyed exploring a range of fun and informative texts, discovering everything from what kangaroos eat to where they live and how they move.

Some of our budding writers have also been busy crafting some incredible descriptive sentences about kangaroos.

Yarra Valley Water Incursion

We were thrilled to welcome Yarra Valley Water for a fantastic (and free!) incursion. The engaging session was packed with interesting information about the water cycle and important lessons about why water is such a valuable resource.

Our students were trained to be ‘Water Watchers’ and came away with some brilliant ideas for saving water at home — be sure to ask them what their favourite water-saving tip is!
