Deputy Principal Staff and Students Report

Child Safety
We continue to have staff reporting that students are getting out of vehicles on the off ramp exit of the Monash Freeway at the rear of the school. The safety of the children in our community is so important. It is not the school or the students’ responsibility, so we ask parents, guardians and carers to ensure they are following the road rules and keeping students safe on the way to and from school.
Student, Parent & Staff Child Safety Meeting
On Monday, 15 September at 12.30pm, parents, guardians and carers are invited to Nazareth College for an open Child Safety Meeting. The Child Safety Team meets each fortnight and once a term invites you to join us to share and discuss some of the challenges of living in the Australian Culture while trying to be true to your culture of origin. We would love to see you there.
If you would like to attend or have any questions please email : justin.duckett@nazareth.vic.edu.au

In the afternoon on Monday, 8 September, we will also enjoy the House Creatives Arts Competition and the Talent Quest.
On Thursday 11 September, the whole school will be going to Luna Park as part of our celebrations. Students will arrive and depart school at the usual times. In addition to the Luna Park excursion there will be a College Assembly to present the Nazareth Faith, Wisdom and Knowledge Awards.
The details for the excursions have been sent to all families via PAM. Parental permission to be returned as soon as possible on PAM to assist our planning.
