PFA

2025 was a BIG year for the PFA!
This has been an incredible year for our PFA team. From the Mother’s Day stall, to casual days, the disco and then our Colour Run, the PFA has brought our school community together to have fun, to provide great activities for our kids, and, of course, raise some needed money for the school. Our covered walkways project took a big jump forward, and the CCTV project has been funded. The leadership team are working closely with the school council to advance the CCTV project and we expect to have some updates in the new year.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all the volunteers that have made 2025 such a great year. From participating in meetings, to event coordination, to turning up on the day, every hour of effort our volunteers put in goes towards creating the kind of results we have attained this year.
I’d like to make a special shout out to the PFA committee - Volunteers don’t just DO the work, they MAKE it work. Big thanks to the committee members who’ve been there to support the school throughout the year. We can be proud of the difference we have made.
Would you like to join us in 2026?
The PFA will hold its annual general meeting in February 2026 (date TBC). Our members get involved, have fun, and help to improve our children’s school. We’re always on the lookout for new members and new volunteers on event days and we’d love to have you join us. More info will follow in the new year.
Casual day Monday Dec 15 - Let’s bring Christmas to Oatlands!
The PFA would like to invite all Oatlands students to come to school dressed in their finest Christmas gear on Monday December 15. Students who prefer not to celebrate Christmas are welcome to come to school dressed in their favourite casual clothes.
As we’ve had such a great year with fundraising, we’re making this event free of charge, no gold coin required.
Remember you can email the PFA on p.f.a@oatlandsps.vic.edu.au if you have any questions or suggestions. All that remains is for me to wish you all a Merry Christmas, and a safe, happy and prosperous 2026 as I sign off for the year.
Cheers,Sarah HigginsPFA President
