The End of Another Successful Year

It has been a great end to 2025, with many milestone activities taking place like the Grades 5 and 6 end of year activities, Gr 5 Leadership program, Gr 6 Leadership Hike, 2026 Preps meeting their Teachers, our amazing Dance Production and Grade 1 to 6 Meet the Teacher, Grade 6 Graduation, Grade 6 Graduation Lunch happening next week.

We would like to acknowledge and thank our wonderful parent community for your support again this year. We would also like to congratulate our amazing students on their growth, their effort, and the positive way they have contributed to our school throughout the year. To our dedicated staff who worked tirelessly to ensure our students were supported, challenged, and celebrated throughout the year—thank you.

Our 135 Year 6 students have come to the end of their Oatlands journey, and we feel confident they are well prepared and ready to move into the next phase of their education. We wish them all the very best for 2026 and the future. To the 70 families whose association with us concludes now that their youngest has completed Grade 6, we sincerely thank you for entrusting us with your children.

This year, Oatlands bids farewell to several staff members: Alex Tonkin will be taking time to travel in 2026, and both Bessy Rus and Leahana Kelsall will be extending their families. We wish each of them all the very best for the exciting adventures ahead and look forward to hearing news of the safe arrival of our OPS newest family members.

We would like to welcome Jorja Lirsch to Oatlands next year. We know she will be a wonderful addition to our team.

To all who are reading this we thank you for your continued support and hope you and your families have a fabulous break. To those who celebrate Christmas we hope it's a merry one and we look forward to seeing you all in the New Year.
