The days seem to be passing before our eyes. Our Year 11 and 12 students have completed their academic year, with only one week remaining for our Year 9 and 10 students. This week’s Orientation program for 2026 Year 12 students has provided an opportunity for both staff and students to connect and set the foundation for the upcoming year.

While our focus is on supporting our Year 2026 cohort, I would also like to acknowledge and congratulate the students who have made the proactive decision to accept apprenticeships and begin their careers in the workplace. There are numerous pathways to success, and we strongly support our students in pursuing apprenticeships as a practical and valuable continuation of their learning. We are proud of all our students’ achievements and wish those transitioning to apprenticeships the very best.

I would also like to extend my appreciation to Suzy Haley and Alison Wright for their efforts in organising the graduation mass and dinner last Friday. I am very proud of the Year 12 cohort for concluding their year with respect and dignity. I hope they are taking some well-deserved rest before their results are released on December 11th.

Regarding the male toilets, I am pleased to inform you that the recent measures implemented to improve these facilities have been successful. We will maintain these protocols for the remainder of the year and enter the next year with the expectation that students will continue to treat all facilities with respect.

Class lists for students in Years 8, 9, and 10 in 2026 will be distributed soon. Please review the accompanying letter carefully and adhere to the timeline provided for feedback. The Year 7 class lists will be shared with parents in January.

Booklists for the 2026 academic year are now available for ordering. Should you have any questions about the booklists, please contact the front office.

Year 9 and 10 students will complete their school year on Friday, December 5th, and Year 7 and 8 students will finish on Tuesday, December 9th. Attendance on these days is compulsory, and parents are asked to ensure students are present until the final day.

Our Presentation Night will be held on Monday, December 8th. This event provides a wonderful opportunity to celebrate student achievements. All students required to attend will receive a letter regarding their participation. Families and community members are also warmly invited to attend. We look forward to seeing you there.
