Our Amazing Community

School Council President

The BNPS community would like to acknowledge the tremendous contribution of Mary Sheargold as School Council President over the past 3 years.

This role is a complete and true act of service to a community, especially one such as ours. When a school council runs their own canteen, uniform shop, and out of hours school care, the responsibility to be across matters of safety and compliance are elevated.

Mary's expertise and knowledge of legal matters was a significant benefit to us and we are truly grateful for her generosity and sense of moral purpose. Mary is known on School Council for running a tight meeting, a skill that cannot be underestimated when all members of council are volunteering their time.

We wish Mary and her family joy at their new schools and hope they will always remember BNPS with great fondness.

Parents & Friends

Congratulations to all members of the P&F, a team of energetic and enthusiastic parents who continue to grow in strength, engagement, and numbers.  Our P&F’s, under the leadership of Natalie Northey, is not just about raising funds for items that add value to our students’ education but is a key component ensuring parent and family engagement with the Beaumaris North Primary School community is cohesive and inclusive.

Our Parents & Friends association provides an important vehicle for friendship and support for all parent members of our community.  Their aim is not only to raise funds but to initiate events where parents can get together, meet others and generally have fun.

Thank you, Nat, your organisational and planning expertise is greatly respected by all who are fortunate enough to work beside you.

To the whole team at Beaumaris North Primary School, thank you for who you are, what you have done, and for demonstrating what an amazing professional, caring and dedicated team of staff we have.

Volunteers

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for your invaluable contributions in all the various roles you play at our school. Your support is truly appreciated and plays a vital part in creating the strong, vibrant community that makes our school so special.

Farewell Ben Miskin

Ben is a friendly face that many past and current students and parents at Beauie North are familiar with as he has volunteered at Beauie North for over 8 years. He supported his niece Mia, who has moved on to high school and his nephew Mason Kerr who is in Year 6 this year, and is now moving on to high school as well. So unfortunately, Ben will be leaving this year too.

He started volunteering in the Canteen soon after Mason started in Prep. He has been a constant every Friday, making sure everything ran smoothly every week. He even ran the Canteen when it was necessary. We could always rely on him. He will be missed but for sure he will enjoy his free Fridays, being able to do that extra Yoga class or just sit and read a book.

Thank you, Ben. We wish you all the best. We hope you will come and visit sometimes.
