All Things Hub

As we reflect on the end of 2025 we feel proud of all we have accomplished in our Community Hub this year. We are very grateful for the partnerships that allowed us to run many sessions for families on mental health, wellbeing, women’s health, healthy bodies, healthy relationships, and sessions for mothers and daughters, fathers and sons. We have strengthened the capacity of our volunteers by providing training and learning opportunities in professional settings and we are thankful for all the wonderful work they have done to support our school this year.

We closed the year with a fun Hub party. Our English tutor partners from Springvale Learning Activities Centre (SLAC) and Springvale Neighbourhood House (SNH) joined us to present end-of-year certificates to our students. They also presented four excellence awards to Hub participants who showed real dedication in learning English this year. Our school principal, Debbie Cottier, presented a beautiful plaque to Springvale Learning Activities Centre to celebrate a decade of partnership as we end this year of English classes. We wish them all the best and look forward to working together in new ways in the future.

We’re also ending the year by celebrating our not-so-little playgroup members anymore as they finish playgroup and get ready to begin their first year of school next year. We have loved making so many wonderful memories together, watching them grow and learn, and we wish them all the best for next year!

We would also like to announce some changes to the Community Hub next year. The Springvale Campus will hold Hub programs only for current and past SRPS and Language Centre families. The Heights Campus will be open to the wider community so everyone can attend Hub programs. We have many exciting activities planned for next year so stay tuned! Hub programs begin on February 23 with enrolments opening on February 7. Interested participants will be contacted to arrange a time for enrolment starting February 9.
