Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden

This week we had our first kitchen class.  Each group came up with a fun name. This semester we have 'Pikachu Pokémon Peaches'; 'Bursting Blueberries'; 'Banana Busters' and 'Skibidi Potatoes'. 

Our menu was based around a tomato and basil theme as it's growing so well in the garden!

We enjoyed tomato, basil and zucchini focaccia; tomato and basil fettuccini and tomato and basil risotto. It was wonderful to hear students say they didn't think they liked tomatoes until they ate today's meal!
