Final Day Term 1

Swimming Carnival

What amazing weather we had to kick off the new look swimming carnival. It was great to see so many students in the water taking part in the day and dressed in house colour!

Well done to our year 5 and 6 students who swam in the formal swimming events throughout the day. Congratulations to Sam Cossar and Marley McGurk who were awarded Under 12 age group Champions. There was great enthusiasm and excitement amongst the F-4students, who didn’t hesitate to jump in whilst undertaking the activities in the small pool. It was spectacular to see the novelty events ran by the year 12s which involved our F-2 buddies. It was also great to have the secondary students and a large contingent of parents brave the heat to support the students from the water’s edge. Many thanks to all staff who helped make the day run so smoothly. I look forward to seeing the students' spirit and enthusiasm shine throughout the year.

Foundation, Grade 1 & 2 Buddies

It was a very special week for our F-2 students, who were lucky enough to spend some time engaging with their year 12 buddies. It was great to see such excitement from the F-2 students and potentially some nerves from our year 12s. I look forward to seeing the other activities you run throughout the year.

Chinese Cultural Day

Next Friday, February 23rd, as we will celebrate the Chinese New Year - the Year of the Dragon, with a series of engaging cultural activities. Students are encouraged to embrace the spirit of the occasion by dressing in red attire or traditional Chinese costumes.
