New Mornings is a not-for-profit mental health organisation supporting children and families on the North-West Coast of Tasmania. As part of our Grief Support service, I am reaching out to personally invite members of your school community — including parents, carers and staff — to attend our upcoming ' Understanding Grief' Seminar .
Grief touches all of us at different times in life. Whether through bereavement, relationship breakdown, illness, community tragedy, or other significant life changes, many people are carrying loss quietly while continuing to manage work, family and daily responsibilities.
This seminar provides a compassionate and practical space to:
• Better understand grief and loss • Learn healthy ways to navigate grief • Gain tools to support yourself and others experiencing loss • Be encouraged through hearing stories of lived experience of loss.
This seminar is suitable for adults in the wider community and does not focus specifically on child grief.
Tickets may be purchased through the humanitix booking link: https://events.humanitix.com/understanding-grief-seminar or by phoning our office on 6411 6212
Thank you for supporting the wellbeing of your broader school community.
