Year 12 Formal

The red carpet was rolled out, the DJ spun our favourite tracks, and the Class of 2025 arrived dressed to impress. No, it wasn’t the Oscars — but with the lights, glam and a whole lot of attitude, our Year 12 Formal truly was A Night in Hollywood!
The evening was a much-needed chance to celebrate the halfway mark of our final year — a night to hit pause on the SACs, exams, and ATAR stress, and just enjoy ourselves. In true Hollywood fashion, we recognised the uniqueness of our cohort with a series of awards, highlighting the cheekiness and comradery that our cohort brings. A huge congratulations to the students (and teachers!) who took home the trophies, and the beautiful certificates designed by House Leader, Sienna Orlando:
- Most Likely to Come Back and Teach at Naz: Gabi K
- Best Couple That Never Was: Mia C & Ricardo K, Rihanna K & Kevin C
- Most Likely to Win the Lottery but Lose the Ticket: Grace R
- Most Likely to Brighten Your Day: Genevieve S
- Best Duo: Achoul G & Keji Y
- Most Likely to Be Famous: Patrick M
- Class Clown: Julian M
- Most Likely to Be Found at the Café: Ava S
- Academic Weapon: Jayden T
- Best Student Dancer: Eddie T
- Best Teacher Dancer: Mr Louis
- Best Dressed Teachers: Ms Kappas & Mr Melhem
- Best Dressed Students: Audrey V & Yianni D
Throughout the night, we were treated to a delicious three-course meal that kept us energised for the dancefloor. And just when we thought things couldn’t get any better — Dominic brought out his drums and started an uproar, bringing everyone to their feet and adding an unforgettable live vibe to the night.
A huge shoutout goes to my fellow Year 12 Leaders for all the behind-the-scenes work that made this night come to life. From brainstorming award names to picking decorations and attending countless meetings, it truly was a team effort; I couldn’t ask for a better team.
And of course, none of this would have been possible without the incredible support of our amazing staff. Thank you to Mr Diaz, Ms Coyle, Ms Penny, Mr Ripper, Ms McMillan, Ms Trustum, Ms Kotsanis, Ms Ousalkas, Marcus, Tom and Mr Cosentino for all the planning, patience and passion you put into this night.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you to every single person who made
A Night in Hollywood one to remember.
And to the Class of 2025 — thanks for being the stars of the show!
God Bless,
Jordan Tissera
