Our OLA Fete Wish List - Investing in Our Schools’ Future

This year's OLA Fete is about more than just a great day out; it's about investing in the future of our children and creating an even better learning environment for every student.

Following consultation with our students, parents and staff, we've developed a wish list of projects that will enhance both learning and play for years to come.

Our fundraising this year will contribute towards:

1. Resurfacing and renewing our basketball, netball and down ball courts to provide safer, more inviting play spaces with refreshed line markings.

2. Installing a long jump pit cover to help keep the sand clean, free from debris and protected from animal contamination.

3.Expanding our Bike Education program to build students& and confidence, independence, physical and mental wellbeing, and essential road safety skills.

4. Supporting student wellbeing through the Story Dogs program, helping students develop reading confidence while promoting positive wellbeing and learning outcomes. 5.Purchasing new Take Home Readers to encourage reading at home while strengthening literacy, memory, concentration, imagination and creativity.

6.Introducing LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime sets for students in Years 3–6, providing hands-on robotics and coding experiences that develop engineering, problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills while building confidence and resilience.

Every raffle ticket purchased, every ride enjoyed, every market stall visited and every dollar raised will help make these projects a reality.

Together, we're not just funding equipment and resources, we're investing in enriching learning opportunities, improving our school environment and creating lasting benefits for every OLA student, now and into the future.
