Bellarine Division Swimming

Congratulations to all the students who attended the Bellarine Division Swimming. It was wonderful to see you encouraging your friends on during the  races and many came home with 2nd or 3rd ribbons. It’s a tough competition at this level and you all showed the Torquay College values of Respect, Friendship and Doing your Best.

Hockey Roadshow

This week, the Hockey Roadshow came to Torquay College and students participated in the ‘Hooked into Hockey’ clinic. There is opportunities for students to continue this program after school. 

School Sports Australia Aquathlon Championships

Last week I competed at the School Sports Australia Aquathlon Championships.

There was an opening ceremony on the Monday then I raced every day (5 races) until the finals on Friday.  I ended up coming 21st overall in the individual final and my team came top 10 in the relays.  It was held at Runaway Bay, Queensland and it was such an awesome experience.  I made friends with so many people from all around Australia and hope I get to do this again.
