Messages from the office

  • Last Day of Term 1 is Thursday 2nd April, 2026. We will have an early dismissal at 2pm.
  • Assembly will be held at 1:15pm (Thursday) to wrap up the term, share some announcements, and celebrate Students of the Week.
  • Reminder for late arrivals signing in to the office, parents are not required to walk students to the classroom (to avoid classroom interruptions).
  • Lost Property: Please ensure you label all items of school clothing.
  • For same day messages for your child about after school pick up or medication changes please call the school on 52612360 otherwise please email the school email.
  • It would be appreciated if parents did not utilise the staff car park at morning drop off time as we have a number of staff on flexible start times - you are able to park in the spaces outside the school and past the rainbow gate.
  • If you order a lunch order online, please ensure you check you have received a confirmation email.
  • If your child has an excursion/event please ensure you read all details in Compass and arrive at school on time with the appropriate items required - unfortunately we have had a number of students miss out on events and activities due to consent and payment not being provided by the required date. We enter into a binding agreement with the services and are unable to make changes.
  • Barwon Water has advised that they are renewing the Torquay water storage tank on Grossmans Road to ensure it continues to serve the community reliably for years to come. Construction work is scheduled from early April to late October 2026 and will take place between 7.30 am and 5.30 pm, Monday to Friday. As part of this work, please note:

    • All work will take place on Barwon Water land on Grossmans Road, Torquay.

    • You may notice increased noise from trucks and machinery, and dust during the works. We’ll aim to minimise impacts to residents.

    • Access to driveways and private property will be maintained throughout the duration of works.

    • We’ll reinstate the area upon completion of works, ensuring it is left in good condition.

    • Some residents may experience lower water pressure for a day or so while we drain the tank. This pressure drop will be more noticeable in homes at a higher elevation.

•As water pressure is restored, customers may experience ‘milky water’. This is tiny air bubbles in the water which settle out if the water is left to stand for a short time. The water remains 100% safe to drink.

    • There will be no interruptions to your water and sewerage services as part of these works.
