Performing Arts Co-Curricular Program

It has been a busy and joyful few weeks in Performing Arts! Our events this term have included:

• Performing Arts Co-Curricular Showcase on Thursday 28th August
• Drama Club Showcase on Tuesday 2nd September
• Marian College Choir sang in the Liturgy at the End of Term Assembly, and the Choir also joined the RE Music class to present music as part of the Brigidine Day Liturgy.
• Creative Music students have continued to learn, and their Rock Band has started on their new song.

Looking ahead to Term 4, we are excited to see Creative Music students continuing their lessons and working on new pieces. The Lunchtime Concert Band is welcoming new members from the Year 7 classroom program. The Choir is preparing music for the Graduation Mass, and Senior Concert Band are working on their final pieces for the year.

We will also be holding a Celebration Lunch to thank and farewell our Performing Arts Co-Captains, Angel Brown and Jolyne Tran.

Thanks to all the students and staff who have been part of the program this term, and those who have helped us along the way. We wish everyone a happy and restorative break, and look forward to returning refreshed and ready for the term ahead.
