Principals Message

As Term 3 draws to a close, I want to take a moment to reflect on the many achievements and positive experiences that have shaped our school community over the past few months. This term has been filled with academic progress and extracurricular activities in all areas of school life, all made possible through the collective efforts of our students, staff, families, and wider community. Thank you to everyone for your continued support and commitment to making Narrandera High School a place where every student can thrive.

I am delighted to announce the appointment of our 2026 school leaders, who will play a key role in guiding and representing our student body throughout next year. Congratulations to Hannah Beer and Matari Johnson, who have been chosen as our School Captains. Both Hannah and Matari have demonstrated leadership qualities, a strong commitment to their Narrandera High School, and a willingness to contribute positively to school life. Supporting them as Vice Captains are Noah Tait and Amy Hall,  RG Mann and Jye Winnell will serve as Prefects, who have all shown great enthusiasm and dedication to school. I look forward to collaborating with these young leaders as they prepare to take on their new roles, confident they will continue to foster a spirit of inclusiveness, responsibility, and school pride.

At the same time, I would like to express heartfelt gratitude to our outgoing school leaders, whose contributions have been invaluable over the past year. Captains Sam Williamson and Keely McLean have been outstanding role models, guiding their peers with integrity and kindness. Vice Captains Hannah McDonald and Milley Godden have provided unwavering support and enthusiasm, while Prefects April Walsh and Sebastian Warren have contributed significantly to various school initiatives and events. Their leadership has not only enhanced our school culture but has also helped build a strong sense of community and camaraderie. We thank them sincerely for their dedication and wish them all the very best in their future endeavours.

As we approach the end of the school year, our Year 12 students are preparing to complete their formal studies and transition from school life at Narrandera High School. It has been inspiring to witness their resilience and determination throughout the year. To celebrate their achievements, we have planned a special Celebration Week filled with activities that recognise their hard work and contributions to the school. This week will culminate in the Graduation Assembly on Wednesday, 25 September. This important event provides an opportunity for families, friends, staff, and the wider community to come together in honouring our Year 12 students as they reach this significant milestone and prepare to embark on the next chapter of their lives. We warmly invite all members of our school community to attend and share in this memorable occasion.
