2026 Interhouse Cross Country Carnival

Preparations are well underway for our Interhouse Cross Country Carnival on Wednesday 1 April. This week, all students took part in practice walks during their Junior and Senior Sport and Enrichment sessions in preparation for the Carnival. These sessions have provided students with an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the course and build confidence ahead of the event.

Our Run Squad has also been showing fantastic dedication each Tuesday morning, turning up with great energy and enthusiasm. Their commitment is inspiring and is helping to build excitement and confidence for all students heading into the Carnival.  Our Year 12 House Leaders are also preparing to support and encourage students on the day, helping to create a positive and uplifting atmosphere throughout the event.

The Interhouse Cross Country Carnival will run from 9:00am to 11:53am, after which students will return to their regular classes. Recess will take place from 11:20am – 11:53am.

We warmly welcome parents and supporters to attend this exciting College event. For safety and security purposes, all parents and visitors are asked to sign in at the Visitor Sign‑In Desk, located at the front of the Hugh O’Brien Centre, where a wristband will be issued. We ask that all parents and visitors remain in the designated spectator area during the Carnival.

The 2026 Cross Country Program of Events is attached below.  We look forward to a fantastic morning of participation, sportsmanship, and house spirit.
