YEAR 11
Leading The Way

Head of Year 11
A reminder that Monday 23 March will be a Study Day for Year 11 students in preparation for the block exams.
This is a non-compulsory day; however, students who indicated they will be attending are encouraged to make the most of the opportunity to revise, ask questions and seek clarification from their teachers before the block exams begin on Tuesday.
Students attending should report to their PG Mentor in the Nazareth Pavilion for morning Pastoral Group for roll marking and are expected to wear their formal uniform.
Any student arriving after the start of school or leaving before the end of the school day must sign in or out through Student Reception and provide evidence of parental permission.
Year 11 Block Exams will take place from Tuesday to Friday in Week 9. During this time, students are only required to attend the College when they have a scheduled exam. The VET program will run as normal on Thursday and Friday for students involved in these courses.
Students must arrive at least 15 minutes before their exam and assemble outside the HOB area in full formal uniform.
Students with two exams scheduled on the same day, who choose to remain at the College between exams, must sign in at Student Reception after their morning exam. They will then be directed to eat outside the Main Staffroom or move to the Library to continue their revision.
We wish all Year 11 students the very best for their exams.

St Vincent de Paul provides service leadership opportunities for students in Years 10 or 11 through the OZANAM Leadership Program. Click here for more details or contact Mrs O’Grady (aogrady@cns.catholic.edu.au).

At the College, students are required to adhere to the uniform and personal grooming guide. We want to support families, students, and teachers in understanding specific requirements, particularly for sports shoes. We know students are currently wearing shoes in the 'not suitable' section of the graphic below.
To provide clarity, we have listed the main shoes worn by students with their sports uniforms that require fixing and shoes must meet expectations for the start of Term 2. This provides you and your family time to make changes to comply with the uniform guideline outlined in the College Diary under Uniforms: Sport shoes - Low cut, supportive, lace-up, all-purpose shoes for running with a suitable grip. Colour scheme should be discreet. Skate shoes and other flat-soled shoes are not acceptable.
The shoes shown in the graphic below are examples we frequently see; they are not the ONLY shoes not permitted. If you are unsure of the correct shoes, please send a picture or ask your child to speak with the Head of Year for clarification. Uniform infringement consequences will come into play at the commencement of Term 2. We appreciate your support in making it very clear what we expect regarding appropriate footwear at the College.

Please note that all key dates are listed in the College Calendar. This can be accessed via the MyCE Parent App and synced with your personal calendar.
