Harmony Week

Dear ANPS Community,
On Friday 20/03/26, our school community came together to celebrate Harmony Day. It was wonderful to see so many students proudly wearing their cultural dress or the colour orange, showing their support for inclusion and belonging.
A big thank you to all the students who performed the Punjabi dance, and to Ms Sue, Ms Riya, Ms Sarah and Mr Harrison for supporting them. Both staff and students practised several times in the lead-up to the performance, and their hard work was evident.
It was also fantastic to see the students in 1A perform a song they have been learning in Italian with Ms Dumaresq, confidently showcasing their developing language skills.
As a school, we created a Harmony Day display in the library, where students had the opportunity to represent themselves and share their cultural backgrounds. This display highlights the rich diversity within our school and reinforces the importance of respecting and celebrating one another’s cultures.
Harmony Day is a valuable opportunity for us to come together, strengthen our sense of community, and recognise that our differences are what make us unique.
