Principal's Message

Dear Parents, Carers, Students and Staff,

As we come to the end of a very productive and busy term, I would like to thank our students, families and staff for their continued support and commitment to learning at our school. It has been a fantastic term filled with many opportunities for students both inside and outside the classroom.

This term our Year 3 and Year 5 students completed the NAPLAN assessments, demonstrating great focus and perseverance. Our Year 5 and 6 students proudly represented the school at interschool sport, showing excellent teamwork and sportsmanship. Almost all students the participated in our whole school swimming program, where they developed their confidence and skills in the water.

In addition to these learning experiences, we enjoyed a number of wonderful whole-school events incluuding our House Colours event was a fantastic display of school spirit, while Rock Star Day brought plenty of energy and excitement to the school. It was also wonderful to see so many families attend our Parent/Carer - Teacher Conferences, providing a valuable opportunity for teachers and parents to discuss student progress and celebrate learning achievements.

I would also like to take this opportunity to welcome and congratulate our 2026 School Council members. Our parent representatives include: Sarah Cornish (President), Robert Swinbank, Hayley Ford and Amy Quayle. Representing our staff on School Council are Ian Murdoch and Dean Squires. I thank these representatives for dedicating their own time to participate and support the ongoing improvement of our wonderful school. School Council plays an important role in supporting the strategic direction and governance of the school, and we look forward to a productive and successful year working together.

As the term concludes, I wish all members of our school community a safe and restful break. I hope everyone has the opportunity to relax and recharge after such a busy term.

We look forward to welcoming students back to school on Monday 20th April for another exciting term of learning.
