Reading: Aim to read for 15 minutes each night at home.
Home Inquiry: Ask about your child’s glow week learning at home this week.
Learning this week:
Our focus this week is Glow Week! Glow Week provides a unique opportunity for students to grow and learn new skills and experience things that they wouldn’t usually do in a school environment.
Year 3 students will engage in four sessions of fun and learning in the mornings – Monday- Friday, approximately from 9-11am.
Year 2 students will engage in four sessions, Monday- Thursday after recess approximately from 11:30am – 12:30pm.
Literacy: Writer’s Workshop: we will continue exploring how we can write compound sentences.
Mathematics: We will review mental computation strategies this week.
Unit of Inquiry: We will spend time this week exploring our yearlong unit of inquiry – Sharing the Planet with a focus on Relationships.

Glow Week – Term 2, Week 9 (June 22 – June 26)
Just a reminder that you are invited to our GLOW Week Celebration afternoon on Friday 26th June. This begins at 2pm in the Worship Centre. We would love to see you there to celebrate and share in the learning that has occurred during this week.
Library Week 9
Due to Glow Week next week, we have moved our regular library visit time to Tuesday afternoon instead. Please bring back returns on Monday & Tuesday so students can borrow books for reading in the holidays.
