Season of Creation - Annual worldwide action to protect & care for the planet

From 1 September (World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation) through to 4 October (the Feast of St Francis of Assisi), our school joins communities around the world in celebrating the Season of Creation.

This special time invites us all to pause, give thanks for the wonderful world around us, and look after our common home together. Inspired by this year’s theme, "Peace with Creation," it’s a gentle reminder of how caring for nature brings peace and joy to our daily lives.

How families may like to join in at home:

• Enjoy nature: Take a family walk and spot the beauty in a local park or garden.
• Care for our earth: Try a small positive change this month, like planting something green or recycling together.
• Pause in gratitude: Take a moment to say a simple thank you prayer for the environment we share.

Generous God, You delight in creation and so do we. 

Thank you for all the wonderful works of your hands.
