After a highly successful Swimming Carnival in Term 1, PE turned its attention to the Term 2 Cross Country season. The school event ran smoothly on a mild and dry Monday morning, with perfect running conditions and not a breath of wind.

Students in Grade 3 got their first taste of the 1km course, while Grade 4 students completed the 2km course and Grades 5 and 6 tackled the challenging 3km event. There were some outstanding performances across all year levels, with 60 students selected to represent the school at District Cross Country.

From those 60 students, 8 achieved top 10 finishes and progressed to Division Cross Country. This time, runners were met with true cross country conditions, battling through rain and muddy terrain. Their results reflected the dedication, effort and determination shown by these hardworking students, who made our school incredibly proud.

Students who finish in the top 10 at Division level now progress to Regional Cross Country.
