SCC Eisteddfod Winners!

On Thursday 23 May a group of Year 3-6 students sang at the 2024 Hobart Eisteddfod for Choirs. Together they sang with confidence and pride when representing SCC. The group did extremely well and won the Year 6 and Under Choral Group.

SCC Huon & Channel Cross Country Winners!

On Wednesday last week, 32 Year 3-6 students participated in the Huon & Channel Cross Country. They all worked as a team and did their very best. Congratulations to our Primary students won the shield, coming first overall in the B Division!

Ms Keane is so proud of all the students involved!

Wisby's Buses Fare Update

Change in the cost of bus fares as of Monday 3 June

Because of an election promise by the current State Government, bus fares will halve to $8 for a sheet of 10 tickets and $1 for a single ticket as of Monday 3 June.

Uniform Reminder

As the weather becomes cooler, some students need to be reminded that they are not able to wear hoodies or sloppy-joes with their uniform. If students are seen with these, they will be asked to remove them.

Students are encouraged to wear a long sleeve white top under their school shirt. They can also wear a black or navy puffer jacket to and from school and at lunch and recess on cold days.

Too often, we will see that Secondary students have left their soft shell on the ground at the end of recess or lunch, particularly if they have been playing in the gym. Sometimes these have no name of them so cannot be easily returned to their owner.
