Dear Sacred Heart Community,

Acknowledgements are important. They recognise things that are special, that mean something. There is something significantly right about acknowledging First Nations people as the oldest continuous living culture on the planet. Amazing! So much to learn from them.

It's just as important to acknowledge the magnificent Denise Esposito, our STEAM Leader and coordinator of our Sacred Heart Art Show, 'Art that Grows'. Nights like last Thursday night are a reflection of the wonderful and vibrant community that we create at Sacred Heart. Congratulations, Denise, (and Marie Petrie her deputy!) on mobilising the fantastic staff we have to present the student work in such a way. A big thankyou to all the parents and guardians who turned up, it means a lot to our kids! And the the students themselves, what wonderful creative work you produced. You should all be proud of your efforts! 

Big celebrations are ready to take place next Friday, 14th August, when we celebrate our fabulous, fantastic Foundation students in reaching 100 days of school!! Great job, kids!
