Copperfield College Shines in Sporting Events

Term 2 Interschool Sport Highlights

This term has been packed with sports, and we’re incredibly proud of the teamwork, energy, and respect shown by our students in interschool competitions.

Throughout Term 2, students from Sydenham represented our school across a range of sports. Highlights included:

• May 5: Intermediate Boys and Girls Badminton and Netball teams competed with great determination against tough competition! 

   

• May 9: Intermediate Boys and Girls Soccer teams showcased their skills and sportsmanship.

   

• May 12: Year 7 Boys and Girls Soccer teams had a fantastic debut to Interschool Sports, full of energy and enthusiasm.

   

• May 22: A huge day of sport with Year 7 Girls Badminton, Year 8 Boys and Girls Badminton, and Year 7–8 Girls Netball teams all heading out. 

   

• May 26: The Intermediate Boys AFL team wrapped up the Term with some high-intensity footy fighting the  strong winds with every kick! 

Thank you to all students and staff involved—your dedication and spirit help build a strong, respectful sporting culture. We look forward to more success and participation in Term 3!
