ARTS & TECHNOLOGY WEEK
MS RIANNE QUAIFE
This year’s Arts and Tech Week at St Mary MacKillop College was a vibrant celebration of creativity, innovation, and hands-on learning. Students had the opportunity to engage in a range of exciting activities that highlighted the talents and enthusiasm within our school community.
Throughout the week, colourful chalk designs brightened up our school grounds, showcasing students’ artistic flair. The tie-dying sessions were a hit with students. A spirited nailing competition brought out the best in teamwork and precision, while cooking classes saw students whip up delicious rocky road treats.
Music echoed through the halls as students experimented with rhythm and sound using boom-whackers, creating lively and energetic performances.
All activities were well-received and participation was strong. It was fantastic to see the Arts and Technologies take centre stage, reminding us of the importance of creativity, collaboration, and hands-on skills in our learning journey.
