K- 10 Athletics Carnival
On the first Friday back this term, our whole school community took part in our school Athletics Carnival. It was a wonderful to see the talent across the entire school in both competitive and non-competitive events. The war cry competition reminded everyone of the importance of school spirit, community, and healthy rivalry. It set the tone for a day of celebration, athletic achievement, and unforgettable memories.
K-2 embraced the fun of the day and participated in Novelty Games. Thank you to the staff and parents who supported and volunteered their time to make our day a big success.
Our 3-10 students gave it their all in track and field. Students from each house went head-to-head in a day of intense rivalry and high-stakes competition. From nail-biting sprint finishes to closely fought relays, every event was a battle for house glory. The fierce determination of the athletes and the passionate support from the sidelines made it a carnival to remember.
A special mention to Will Smith for breaking the Junior Boys 8-10 800m record with a time of 2:46.52. A phenomenal effort! Congratulations also to Mitchell Cronin for breaking the 14 year old Boys 100m record with a time of 12.87. Amazing!
