Social Justice

On the final day of Term 1, our school community came together to celebrate our annual fundraising event, Mission Action Day (MAD). The day marked the culmination of a month-long effort, uniting our community with purpose and proudly reflecting the Mazenod spirit through service, generosity and care for others.

From beginning to end, the day was filled with energy, joy and a strong sense of community. Students and staff embraced every opportunity to give back, creating an atmosphere where generosity was truly at the heart of all we did. As St Eugene de Mazenod reminds us, “Among yourselves charity, charity, charity; and outside, zeal for souls.” This spirit was clearly alive throughout the day.

Together, we are proud to have raised over $55,000 (including funds raised through online donations and on Mission Action Day, with expenses from the day to be taken out) in support of the Oblate Missions around the world and the Missionary Association of Mary Immaculate - an impact that will reach far beyond our gates.

Thank you to our students, staff, families, local businesses and our wider community for your generous monetary and goods donations. Your support made this achievement possible.

We also extend our sincere thanks to the following businesses and organisations for their generous support of our fundraising efforts: Atturra, Pauly’s Cannoli, BD Vending, Attilio's Fruit Market, Puffing Billy Railway, Wetlands Adventure Mini Golf, Chesterfield Farm, and Melbourne United NBL.
