Parents & Friends Association

The last week of Term 1 was very busy for the P&FA. We would like to thank the school for the opportunity to host the BBQ for the MAD Music Festival which included selling sausages in bread, drinks, snacks and raffle tickets. It was a great turn out to support our talented musicians and raise money for the Oblate Missions. Thanks to so many of our members who didn't hesitate to lend a hand to ensure the evening ran smoothly and everyone was well fed.
We followed on the next day with Mission Action Day and our annual Zooper Dooper distribution to 1000+ tired and sweaty boys! Their manners, as always were impeccable!
Our members then moved into the quadrangle to distribute the 224 tubs of Cookie Dough that was ordered and of course the prizes that were earned. We were thrilled to be able to donate $896 to the Oblate Missions, including Rosies - which more and more of our members are actively becoming involved in.

Rosary Workshop
On Monday May 4th at 7pm Mr Rob Zaar will provide step by step instructions on how to make rosaries as well as provide all equipment. The rosaries made will be presented to next year's Yr 7 cohort.
The Rosary workshop, now in it's third year, is open to everyone- you don't have to be a member of the P&FA. In the past we've welcomed mums, aunts, grandmothers, sisters and friends and of course Father Harry! Join us for a couple of hours of community spirit, friendship and nibbles. Meet at 7pm in the Mazenod front office.
We welcome all parents and carers. Please register to join the association and be part of this growing group of parents who seek to be more engaged and part of the Mazenod life!
