Division Athletics

On Wednesday we had 13 students participate in the Knox Division Athletics Championships after finishing in the top 2 in their event(s) at District. All students competed to the best of their ability and should be proud of their efforts to make it this far.

Students who finished in the top 2 have qualified for the Eastern Metropolitan Regional finals in Doncaster on the 24th of October. Here are the fantastic results:

Liah I – 1st in 100m with a new school record of 14.19 seconds and 2nd in Triple Jump with a new school record of 8.62m

Ava C – 1st in 200m and 5th in 800m

Abby T – 2nd in 200m 

Taryn O – 3rd in Hurdles

Meg M – 7th in  Shot Put

Ashtyn T – 3rd in Shot Put with a new school record of 6.62m

Lincoln S – 5th in 800m

Jalen D – 3rd in 800m

Zach P – 1st in High Jump

Zahid A – 1st in Shot Put

Zane F – 2nd in Shot Put

Hudson L – 5th in Long Jump
