Holiday Works

As which is often the case, there are a multitude of works being undertaken during the Term Break. It is very exciting that many of our long-standing goals regarding school improvement are being attended to during the coming weeks. 

These works include

• All classrooms, office spaces and withdrawal rooms in the Level 2 Building and our portables (Rooms 17-24) will be painted internally. This includes some significant patching and plastering. This will mean that the majority of our classrooms have been freshly painted in 2024. 
• Installing new laser light sheeting, guttering and downpipes to the Level 2 building. These works will make the areas outside Rooms 13 and 15 much dryer during wet weather.
• Ground works between the Burchall Crescent entrance and the synthetic hard courts. These works will install a path and improve drainage in the area.
• Concrete works between the Gym storage, Art Room and synthetic hardcourts. Cracked and lifted concrete to be removed and replaced. This will remove many longstanding trip hazards in the area.
• A number of tree stumps will be removed
• New crushed rock to be installed in the back staff carpark
• Level 1 Building, Indonesian Room and Wentworth building to be steam cleaned
• Synthetic turf repairs and maintenance

Please be mindful of the busy nature of the works if you and your family are planning to use the school grounds. As usual, if you notice any antisocial behaviour on our grounds during the Term Break, particularly regarding individuals drinking alcohol on school grounds or accessing our roof spaces, please contact the police directly on 000.
