Principal's Desk

Another term has come and gone and I believe both students and teachers are looking forward to a well-earned rest. Learning at Park Ridge Primary School is a busy event and we are extremely proud of the effort both our students and teachers put into ensuring that optimal learning success is achieved.

Of course, we expect that students will continue to read daily over the holiday period. A visit to the local Rowville Library might fill in a couple hours each week over the holiday period.

Next term, we begin another Future Stars (formally Preptastic) Program. On a number of Fridays our new 2025 Foundation students will be attending to begin their transition process. We really value this program and all the benefits our new students gain from their involvement.

No Hat No Play

With the sun finally breaking through this week, could parents please note that Term 4 is ‘No Hat No Play'. Students are required to wear an approved school hat when outside.

Consent & Payment- Compass

This is a reminder that consent and payment is required by the due date as communicated via our Compass platform. In adherence to our school policy, students who have not finalised payment and/or consented by the required date will not be allowed to attend unless the principal determines an exceptional circumstance applies. If you have any issues paying for these activities or are under financial hardship, then please speak to the school before the event payment deadline. In recognition of the additional hours that our teaching staff put into organising these extracurricular activities available to your child/ren, we would appreciate you following these deadlines.

As this will be the last newsletter we publish before the end of the Term, I hope everyone has a safe and relaxing break and I look forward to seeing rested, happy faces around the school for a big last Term. Enjoy the beautiful spring weather! See you all back on Monday 7 October.

Stay safe,
