Good Luck Clancy
A huge good luck to Clancy, who is heading to South Australia this weekend for the final two rounds of the 2026 Australian Enduro Championship.
Clancy has had an amazing season on the bike. He recently won the Victorian title in his class and currently sits on top of the Australian Championship standings. Even more impressively, he has won every round of the national championship so far, giving him a perfect 225 points heading into the final weekend!
The final rounds will be held at Coonalpyn, South Australia, this Saturday and Sunday, where Clancy will be competing against some of the best junior riders from across Australia.
Clancy puts an enormous amount of time and effort into his riding, and to already have a Victorian title under his belt and be in this position heading into the final national rounds is a fantastic achievement.
We know there will be plenty of people from Buninyong cheering him on this weekend!
Good luck, Clancy! We can't wait to hear how you go!
Teacher Aide / ES Appreciation Week
This week we’re celebrating ES & Teacher Aide Appreciation Week and taking the opportunity to recognise our AMAZING Education Support team here at Buninyong.
Our ES team play such an important role across our school. You’ll find them supporting students in classrooms, working one-to-one and with small groups, helping kids through tricky moments, supporting in the yard, keeping things running in the office and doing countless other jobs behind the scenes.
Their roles are varied, but they all make a huge difference to our students, staff and families each and every day. Quite simply, our school wouldn’t be the same without them!
We’re having a little bit of fun with the kids this week through Operation ES-pionage, with photos of our ES team hidden around the school for students to find and count. We’re also encouraging the kids to notice the real ES around the place and take the time to say thanks for all that they do.
A huge THANK YOU to our fantastic ES team. We are very lucky to have you and hope you know just how much you are appreciated!
Legacy Week Appeal
This week is Legacy Week, and once again we are proud to support Ballarat Legacy and the important work they do supporting the families of Australian veterans.
We have a range of Legacy items available from the Buninyong office, including pens, badges, key rings and bracelets, with items priced at $2, $3, $5, $10 and $20.
Students and families are welcome to pop into the office to purchase an item, with all proceeds supporting Ballarat Legacy.
A small purchase can make a big difference in supporting veterans’ families in our local community.
Father’s Day Stall - Friday 4 September
Our annual Father's Day Stall will be held on Friday 4 September, giving students the opportunity to choose a special gift for the dads, grandfathers and other important male role models in their lives.
All gifts are $5. Students will initially be able to purchase one gift, with the opportunity to buy additional gifts later in the morning (subject to availability) for another special person, such as a stepdad or grandfather.
