Year 6 Religious Education Test

Each year, students in Years 6, 8 and 10 across Sydney Catholic Schools participate in the Religious Education Test. The Religious Education Test measures students’ knowledge, skills and understanding across the key strands within the Religious Education curriculum. 

Last Wednesday, the students in Year 6 at OLF completed the 50-question test. Results will be sent to schools towards the end of November.

SCS ‘The Christmas Story Art Exhibition and Competition’

Each year, Year 5 and 6 students across the Archdioceses of Sydney, Wollongong and Bathurst are invited to take part in the Christmas Art Exhibition. This is an initiative to celebrate and explore children’s creative, artistic and reflective ability to express their understanding of the Christmas Story. This year, eight artworks were submitted for consideration. We think they have done an AMAZING job !

These are just a snapshot of what was submitted! Thank you to Mrs Brown and Miss Duffy, who have worked with these students over the last term. Their expertise and guidance with these students have been greatly appreciated.

The students also submitted a written reflection on their artwork. It was a pleasure to work with these young artists who were able to express their thoughts so reflectively.

Grandparents Day Liturgy & Learning Symposium

Learning Symposium / Grandparents Day Liturgy

When:  Friday, 7th November 2025 - see the schedule below for times

All parents, grandparents and carers are invited to celebrate Grandparents Day & our Learning Symposium at Our Lady of Fatima, Caringbah. We will have a Liturgy and open classrooms for you to view your child/grandchild's work at our special Learning Symposium for the students to be able to showcase the amazing learning they have been doing at OLF.

OLF Christmas Concert: 

Will be held on the school grounds at 9.15am on Friday 5th December.

Year 6 Graduation Mass: 

Year 6 Parents and Carers are invited to celebrate on Thursday, 11th December at 12.00pm

End of Year Mass and Awards Ceremony: 

The whole school is invited to celebrate on Tuesday, 16th December at 9.30am 

Sacrament of Confirmation

This year, candidates from Our Lady of Fatima who are preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation will gather together at St Mary’s Cathedral, Sydney to receive the Sacrament. 

Confirmation Date:  Sunday, 9th November

This week, Fr Julian, Fr Zeljko and Fr Nonie met with the students in the Year 6 classrooms for the first of two sessions in preparation for receiving the Sacrament. 

Last Saturday evening at their Commitment Mass, the students received a beautiful scroll with words that reminded them of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Please keep these candidates in your prayers over the coming weeks!

Grade Masses

Over the course of the term, our Primary students have the opportunity to attend the 9.15 am Friday Parish Mass here at OLF.  You are also most welcome to attend these Masses with us!
