2027 Year 7 Information Evening

The College will hold its 2027 Year 7 Information Evening on Wednesday 25 March 2026, from 6pm to 7pm. 

Families are invited to attend the information evening at Yarrabing Secondary College to discover first-hand how your child can share in the lifetime benefits of an excellent secondary education. The evening will include an information session and the opportunity for Leadership staff to introduce themselves to prospective parents and students, and to outline to them the many proactive and positive programs that we have to offer. The evening will also include a school tour of facilities.

School Enrolment Policy

From experience we are aware that many families who wish to attend the 2027 Year 7 Information evening often ask us about our school enrolment policy.

The College follows the Department of Education’s Enrolment Policy for the enrolment, placement and transfer of students, please refer to the link below:

Our school has an enrolment restriction under section 2.2.16 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic). Approved entry criteria for our school are:

• students who live within the school zone

• students with a sibling attending the school at the same time

• students seeking enrolment on compassionate grounds, in exceptional circumstances.

All students seeking enrolment at our school must meet one of the above criteria to be eligible for enrolment.
