NAPLAN testing 2026
The National Assessment Program - Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) is an annual assessment for all students in Years 3, 5, 7, and 9. All students in these year levels are expected to participate in tests in reading, writing, language conventions (spelling, grammar and punctuation) and numeracy.
NAPLAN tests are scheduled for Wednesday, 11 March, until Monday, 16 March 2026. The catch-up testing window will commence on Tuesday, 17 March until Monday the 23 March.
For Year 3 and 5 students
Please ensure your child/children are at school by 8.50am on these days. If your child will arrive late, please contact the Primary school office.
NAPLAN testing for Primary students will be conducted in their Year 3 and 5 classrooms.
For Year 7 and 9 students
Please ensure your child/children are at school by 8.50am on these days. If your child will arrive late, please contact the Main reception.
Students MUST ensure their BYOD device is fully charged for each of the NAPLAN sessions.
Students MUST ensure they bring working wired headphones for their BYOD device OR charged earpods that are connected and ready to use during each of the NAPLAN sessions.
NAPLAN testing for Year 7 will occur in the Multi-Purpose Hall. Year 9 sessions will be held in the Senior school classrooms.
If your child is absent on the day of a NAPLAN test
A catch-up time will be organised during the NAPLAN testing Window.
