Census Field Manager Roles

Field Manager roles are currently open, with positions closing on Friday 20 February.

Approximately 80 Field Managers will be employed across Tas, in all corners of the state, including remote places as well as more major towns.  This link Field Manager - ABS Census | Humanforce Talent has all the job details and information, but some key points are:

  • Casual position for a period expected to be between the end of April to October.
  • $42.65/hour plus super, and travel costs are reimbursed.
  • Workload will vary, up to 30 hours a week and includes out-of-hours/weekends
  • Secure storage of boxes of census forms (eg maybe 70 boxes) is required at their home
  • They require their own car and device (phone/tablet)

Clarence Jazz Festival

Presented by the City of Clarence, this annual festival brings together a heap of free and ticketed, family-friendly events and activities across four days and five festival stages.

This year the festival celebrates its 30th anniversary, bringing together local, interstate and international musicians for a massive program of live music – all set in the sprawling grounds of Rosny Farm – behind Eastlands and just 10 minutes from Hobart.

 

  • The Opening Night Party on Thursday 19 February, which will be broadcast live on ABC Radio Hobart from Rosny Farm – This is a FREE EVENT
  • Some highlights for young families and kids include: The Big Day at the Farm (Saturday 21 Feb, $25 | Under 16 FREE)
    • 12 hours of epic live music across five stages
    • Lots of food options, including food vans and the highly anticipated new CJF X Scholé tasting experience
    • Delicious wine from the Coal River Valley
    • Plus plenty of space to relax, and lots of free activities for kids.
  • A welcoming, safe, enclosed outdoor festival environment that’s perfect for families to drop in and experience live music together.

Clarence Football Club

Clarence Football Club is preparing for the 2026 season of our Under 18 Girls football program, and we are hosting an Information Evening for students who may be interested in playing football next year, either returning to the sport or trying it for the first time.

 

Our program is designed to support all skill levels, from complete beginners to advanced players looking to continue their development. The information session will cover:

 

  • Goals and focus for the 2026 U18 Girls program
  • Introduction to our new coach
  • How we support players of all levels
  • Training structure and team environment
  • Opportunities and pathways for young female athletes
